Every year I lived in Nashville I wrote a song for my Dad about someone in our family tree.....Moms family was so different from Dads.....all of Dads family were under five-nine while Moms family were over six five.....Dads side were all educated while Moms side were moonshiners from Oakridge Tn.....all of these songs are about something everyone has....family matters with love and caring
This song is about the courtship of my grandmother This song is about the courtship of my grandmother and grandfather in 1913.......she was a graduate of the Naperville conservatory of Music majoring in Piano......imagine no electricity no radio, no anything.....so in 1913 hearing someone play the piano must have been quite a treat grandfather in 1913.......she was a graduate of the Naperville conservatory of Music majoring in Piano......imagine no electricity no radio, no anything.....so in 1913 hearing someone play the piano must have been quite a treat
